Video Production Level 1

Bring life to your ideas by creating an animated video to explain them! Whether you want to explain a product to prospective buyers, create an effective crowdfunding campaign or wake everyone up in an otherwise lifeless PowerPoint presentation, this six-week course can teach you how to create a 2-D animated explainer video. We’ll start with a brief and follow industry-standard processes, such as storyboarding and style frames, to develop our idea into a final animated solution. We’ll be creating and preparing our artwork in Adobe Illustrator, then animating it in Adobe After Effects. The final video will include music and subtitles. Each week, you’ll be given assignments which we will review during the following class

Entry Requirement

You will do better in the course if you have a DSLR camera that you can practice with. There are practice exercises that are important to do while learning how to use your DSLR camera.
